A Five-Day
Licensee/Certification Coursework

Train to be a Business Etiquette, Protocol, and Professional Presence expert. According to The Wall Street Journal, the demand for etiquette and protocol experts and courses is rising. We have developed a curriculum to meet this demand.

As a licensee you will be trained and certified to present all the Global Protocol® materials, workbooks, and visual aids, and you will receive a Certification of Attainment. The training program consists of five days, Monday morning through Friday afternoon. Classes are limited to twelve unless special arrangements have been made. Enrollment priority is based on the order in which deposits are received.

A Continuing Relationship
In order to remain an active licensee trainer, you will be expected to attend at least one annual retreat within a three year period, in which you will be given opportunities to obtain updated materials to ensure that your training continues to reflect current issues. The retreat will cover presentation skills, business development, and curriculum or seminar updates. Plus, you will be sharing with other experts what works and what does not work. Additional updates will be offered through newsletters, e-mail announcements, postal mailings, teleconferences, and webinars in our effort to keep you informed and a leader in the industry. You will also be given an opportunity to participate or offer a commentary in our blog report and newsletters. This will help get your name known as an industry expert.

We will provide you with a special code to participate in our Global Protocol® International Forum. This will help you expand on your knowledge base by interacting with Global Protocol licensees and qualified experts around the world in a web dialogue format at www.globalprotocol.org.

Facilitator Opportunities
Active licensees, who have kept their training up-to-date, will be given opportunities to serve as Global Protocol® Facilitators when opportunities arise. Compensation will be based on the project and will include travel expenses per your facilitator agreement. To assist in marketing licensees for these opportunities, your name, photo, and a brief description is posted on the Global Protocol® website under “Team of Experts.”  This is an excellent opportunity to gain a return on your investment and establish your experience in the marketplace.

Course Benefits
You will learn how to stage and present professional seminars or coursework, how to market training programs, how to continually expand your expertise, and how to improve your people skills. Our annual retreat and webinars will keep your material current, and our Advice Line™ is a part of our “open door policy” designed to help you handle challenging situations as they occur or just brainstorm a new idea. In addition to your coursework materials, you will receive ongoing support materials and training.

A Proven Track Record
The comprehensive curriculum is based on over 20 years of experience, training, research, and insight from our corporate clients and advisory board, who represent corporations, financial organizations, and educational institutions. Our website blog keeps us abreast of new and emerging issues to add further support to our training modules. Our client base ranges from Fortune 100 companies to the small business entrepreneurs.

What You Will Learn
You will learn all aspects of etiquette, protocol, and image development that must be utilized for successful interactions in corporate, civic, and government arenas.
This course will prepare you to present seminars, briefings, and private consulting on business etiquette, international protocol, and image development. You will learn how to adapt the following topic categories to coincide with your own or your client’s training objective:

Raise the Bar
by Integrating Our Curriculum into Your Coursework.

Unit #1: Independent Consultants and Coaches

Are you an executive coach or an image consultant needing to add another dimension to your offerings? Are you interested in pursuing a new career as an image, etiquette, and protocol expert but do not want to do all the development work? Have you trained with another company but still feel you have some voids or are not getting the support you need? If your answer is “yes,” our licensee program is a perfect fit.

On the last day of training, we will assist you in developing your own signature program. This is the highlight of the week. Most of our graduates have used this opportunity to develop children or teen-related programs, to expand diplomatic work, or as a way to add another dimension to an existing area of expertise (e.g., personality profiling, lifestyle and executive coaching, image consulting).

Unit #2: Corporate Trainers and Human Resource Professionals

Does your employee orientation program include training or refresher exercises in social skills? Most often orientation programs focus primarily on policies, procedures, and their theoretical benefits. In reality, social skills are an important part of the equation.

Research continually shows that many employees entering and returning to the workplace are ill prepared to meet the demands (or expectations) that are prerequisites for establishing effective relationships with management or peers, co-workers or clients. These are the very demands that help make a company successful.

Our corporate training units are designed to help you address these voids and prepare your employees to better represent your company.  Your key trainers will be highly experienced and certified to present the Global Protocol® materials. We will customize the training in advance to fit your industry and corporate culture through a series of research questionnaires and telephone interviews tailored to target your corporate needs. The Global Protocol® orientation package also offers on-site instruction.

Unit #3: University and College Professors

Are your students lacking in social skills and image development training?  Recent media regarding corporate corruption, inappropriate behavior, and casual dress trends have created a lot of uncertainty in today’s graduates. We are receiving more and more e-mails from students concerned that they will be ill prepared to meet the professional expectations of corporate America or that they will unknowingly cross corporate ethical boundaries or display inappropriate or embarrassing behavior.

Our education curriculums are designed to help you address these training voids and better prepare your students for the interview process and workplace. Your key instructors will be trained and certified to present the Global Protocol® materials. This training is customized to fit your university program and can be developed as a two-semester, transferable elective course.  Students want to take the coursework; and they also want transferable credits.

We are privileged and proud to announce that Fullerton College of California now offers Business Etiquette and Protocol under the Office of Technology, and Elmira College of New York offers a full-semester etiquette program. We are prepared to help you design and offer just such a program.

Our Team of Experts

All our instructors are degreed or certified experts in their field of expertise.  Our team of experts includes Global Protocol® approved industry specialists and practicing trainees (facilitators), and our Board of Advisors represents such companies as Chase, Discover Financial, Sara Lee, MacCormack College, and Banking Institute Administration.

The highlight of the week is a phone conference call with Letitia Baldrige, author and former social secretary to Jacqueline Kennedy. You will receive advice from the foremost expert in the etiquette and protocol industry.
